Our travel backpacks are inspired by a simple hiking backpack popular in Bulgaria in 1950s. Constructed from 12oz Canvas impregnated with paraffin wax for excellent water repellency and durability, the backpack also features strong leather straps and fasteners and heavy duty rivets and buckles. Our redeisgn features rear-entry zip (concealed while wearing) for easy access into the bag and quick side pockets opening.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Waxed cotton should not be machine washed or dry cleaned and should be kept away from hot water and harsh detergents that will remove the wax coating. When spots occur, use a damp rag or soft bristle brush to gently buff out the stained area. You can use a hair dryer to smooth any unwanted lines in the canvas. FABRIC
If waxed canvas is creased, folded or scratched, these markings will appear slightly lighter in color on the fabric. We call this a patina effect. The ability of waxed canvas to patina creates a fabric with character and a rugged, lived-in look.
